When you need to get somewhere a little further than Marlborough, we can assist with private transfers throughout the top of the South Island.
Our private transfers can be non-stop or designed to give you the opportunity to see parts of the country you may otherwise miss, take in the views, have a coffee, enjoy a lunch or wine tasting.
Below is a sample itinerary for each trip.
Marlborough to Christchurch
Leaving your accommodation we will travel along State Highway 1 over the Weld Pass to Seddon. There we will depart State Highway one and travel toward the coast , passed Yealands winery and to Lake Grassmere salt works. We will rejoin and travel along the spectacular Kaikoura Coast, stopping along the way before passing through Kaikoura and onto North Canterbury region. Lunch will in this wine region at an award wining restaurant and visit the spectacular Iron Ridge Quarry as well as wine tasting at some of the regions cellar doors, before arriving in Christchurch.
Travel time 8 to 10 hrs.
Marlborough to Nelson / Tasman
Travel State Highway 6 to Nelson, stopping at the Gallery in Havelock, Pelorus Bridge before arriving in Nelson. Visit several art gallery in Nelson and the famous WOW museum. Lunch can be at one of the many fine cafes and restaurants in Mapua. Wine tasting and a visit to Hogglin Glass are also optional before arriving at you destination.
The duration of this transfer depends on what you want to see and do. Time can range from 2 to 6 hrs.
